Ombudsman de Laval

Goal
Redesign the Laval Ombudsman website to make the content accessible, improve the user experience and make the site more dynamic and engaging.

User experience
Our UX designer first reviews the tree structure proposed by the City’s Communications Department. She then conceptualizes the wireframes to determine the distribution of content. Finally, she ensures that the user experience is optimal on all types of screens.

Visual identity
The new website has a strong visual identity and a simplified graphic grid. The color palette is bright and contemporary. The site offers a breath of fresh air to a service that, at first glance, may seem rigid.

Personalized form
The website allows citizens to file a complaint using a personalized form. Special attention is paid to the design of the form in order to divide it into easy-to-follow steps. This makes it seem easier for the citizen to fill out.

Result
The new website provides information on the Laval Ombudsman. It details the type of intervention as well as overviews of work handled. It includes publications from the service. Our partner Syspark’s web hosting is based on an optimized and secure infrastructure. The mandate also provides for maintenance of the platform.
